Aven Pavilion Now Accepting Applications

We are thrilled to announce that applications for residency at the newly constructed Aven Pavilion are now open for submission.

With our anticipated move-in date set for October 2024, we eagerly await the opportunity to welcome new members to our community. As we move forward, it is important for you to be aware of some high-level details of the Aven Pavilion intake process. Here’s a brief overview to help you make an informed decision as you continue your journey with us:

1. Location:

Situated in the heart of Yellowknife, a city renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage, the Aven Pavilion offers a unique blend of natural beauty and urban convenience of affordability, accessibility, and energy efficiency.

2. Occupancy Date:

Prospective residents can mark their calendars for as early as October 2024.

3. Application Process:

Please contact us directly via email, phone, or using the provided contact information. Please be advised that due to specific criteria, not all applications may be accepted. After this vetting period, applicants will be contacted as to the next steps in the process, which would include a personalized walk-through of our staged fully furnished one and two-bedroom units.  

4. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age Requirement: Applicants should be at least 55 years old.
  • Independence: Independence is a prerequisite, supported by a doctor's written confirmation.
  • No Pets Policy: Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate pets within the Aven Pavilion.
  • Affordability: We are committed to offering affordable housing options to our residents.
  • Rental rates: One-bedroom units: $1260 per month (Includes affordable offset). Two-bedroom units: $1830 per month. (Market rate)
