Once qualified, applicants are waitlisted by application date, with subsidized placements reflecting the most significant needs, all guided by GNWT’s CNIT.
Information on net worth is considered as one of the factors for the ranking exercise to help determine need. Notice of assessment and statement of net-worth are to be resubmitted annually.

Independence is one of the criteria for eligibility at AVENS. This criteria is consistent with an individual who is assessed at no higher than Level 1 on the “Levels of Service Needs in Continuing Care” published by GNWT.
